Brass Anchor Candlestick

Crafted in heavy polished brass, this decorative candlestick features a classic admiralty-style anchor design with two flukes and a stock that doubles as a candle socket. The upright shank supports a round candle cup with a turned baluster form, while a side projection (resembling a bitt or belaying pin) provides stability when set on a surface. Pieces like this were often made as nautical décor items in the mid-20th century, popular with sailors, yacht clubs, and collectors of maritime furnishings.
